Batman Statues

My Batman statues arrived. I got the Dark Horse DC classic Batman and the Super friends Batman maquette. Both are awesome! They are limited additions the Dark Horse Batman statue a few years ago I was trying to get one off EBay but they were going for way to much and just gave up. The maquette I had seen a few time and I quite liked it but thought it was out of my price range. I got them both for a great price way lower than I would have paid for either of them individually. Anyway nedless to say I am vary pleased.

Hot Toys Joker head swap

I finally got around to swapping the heads on my HT Jokers. I was a little nervous about it but now that I have done it I have to admit I think they look a lot better.

DC Universe figures

I got a couple of DC Universe 75th anniversary figures the other day, Batman of course and Nightwing. I had to have the Batman but I kind of wanted the Nightwing as I realized I don’t have a Nightwing figure. I am not a huge Nightwing fan but you kind of need one in the collection plus it’s not a bad figure.

1/50 Scale Elite Batmobile

I saw the Elite 1/50 scale 66 Batmobile at the show on the weekend. I had kind of gotten use to the idea that I would not get this one, but now after seeing it in the flesh so to speak I really want it. I can not get over how nice it is. It really makes the standard version look kind of weak. The other thing I saw was the Santiago Tumbler/Batpod set. I think I kind of want that too. I guess after a couple months lull in Batman acquisitions I am going through a bit of withdrawal. But I am really happy with my recent additions.

Batman weekend

Great Batman weekend! I scored me a Ed McGinness Black and White Batman and I do mean scored, got him for 20 shekels, because there is a small chip on the inside of his cape. I also got my self a 1/50 scale Super Friends Hot wheels Batmobile, that I payed through the yin yang for. I have wanted it for a long time and I know that any minute now they will probably show up on Zellers shelves for a fraction what I payed for it, but I just in case they don't I really did want it and it was cheaper than EBay.
